Greg retired from the Royal New Zealand Navy in early 2020 with the rank of Surgeon Lieutenant Commander, having spent a number of years as the principal medical advisor for the operational headquarters of the New Zealand Defence Force.
Greg has led the medical support on overseas trips with two New Zealand Prime Ministers, and has deployed to the Indian Ocean on counter-narcotics operations.
He has a broad base of knowledge, with experience in medical systems design and clinical governance.
His role is to oversee all clinical aspects of the unit, ensuring that patients at Wellington Hyperbarics are screened for suitability of the therapy, and that an individualised treatment programme is constructed for each person.
Greg is thrilled to be involved in bringing a therapy to Wellington which enhances the body's innate ability to heal itself through a variety of mechanisms, and which can often help where other treatments have been ineffective.
